Een snurkbeugel van PurelyGoods is een hulpmiddel dat is ontworpen om snurken te verminderen. Het is een speciaal ontworpen beugel dat tijdens het slapen wordt gedragen en de kaak in een voorwaartse positie houdt, waardoor de luchtweg open blijft. Dit helpt om het trillen van zacht weefsel in de keel te verminderen en snurken te voorkomen.
De snurkbeugel wordt eerst gevormd naar jouw gebit en is vervolgens verstelbaar tot 10 mm voorwaarts. Door de onderkaak naar voren te brengen tijdens het slapen, helpt de beugel de luchtweg open te houden en zo snurken te verminderen.
Spoel de snurkbeugel af met koud of lauwwarm water. Reinig de snurkbeugel met een zachte tandenborstel en een mild reinigingsmiddel, zoals (antibacteriële) handzeep.

Het wordt niet aanbevolen om de anti-snurkbeugel te gebruiken als je een tand of kies mist. De beugel oefent gelijkmatige druk uit op het gebit voor een goede werking. Als er een tand of kies ontbreekt, kan deze druk ongelijkmatig verdeeld worden, wat ongemak kan veroorzaken of de beugel minder effectief maakt. Dit kan ook leiden tot schade aan het gebit of tandvlees. Raadpleeg daarom eerst een tandarts voordat je de beugel gebruikt

De snurkbeugel is gemaakt van EVA-materiaal. EVA staat voor ethyleenvinylacetaat, een type polymeer dat bekend staat om zijn flexibiliteit en zachtheid. Het wordt vaak gebruikt in medische toepassingen vanwege zijn hypoallergene eigenschappen en comfortabele pasvorm. EVA is BPA-vrij, wat betekent dat het geen schadelijke chemicaliën zoals bisfenol A bevat, die in sommige kunststoffen voorkomen en in verband worden gebracht met gezondheidsrisico's.
